The Kingdom of God and kingdom living for us begins with the advent of the King – the birth, death, resurrection, ascension and return of Jesus. The King comes bodily in his incarnation, he comes spiritually through the Holy Spirit, and will come again visibly in glory on his return. We are in-between times, already and not yet, and face challenges of transitions. Let’s look at obedience – the seeking and doing of God’s will even in the face of challenges and transitions – as a manifestation of kingdom come life.
