Duality and binary – this or that – is prominent in our human experience and in the way we approach life, either/or. This is true in our relationships and in our worldview. Jesus rose from the dead to change that. In relationships, through his Spirit, Jesus provides a third way, his way that embraces both into his new way of life, a life of love and reconciliation. Pentecost reminds us that there is a third option or way of life, it is the resurrection life of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
