We live in a place proclaimed as the land of the free and home of the brave. Are you free? Free from what? And free for what? What is freedom? Whether we recognize it or not, there is a freedom given us by God in Jesus Christ that is superior to our notion of freedom as a country and as individuals. It is a freedom from and a freedom for. It is a freedom inherently intrinsic to our destiny as a people made in the image of God. Let’s consider the incredible freedom we have been given in Jesus.
