On this Ascension Sunday, we are reminded that Jesus ascended into the heavens to the Father with us. In him as the Way, the Gate, the Door, we have a standing invitation to share in the life of Father, Son and Spirit – the Triune life. We can come and go through that Way, Gate, and Door at any time in relationship. One of the immediate and profound ways we share in the Triune life is in our participation in the gift of listening prayer.
