In the old testament book of Ruth 1:1-18, Ruth’s story brings godly (Torah) principles to life, demonstrating pathways for transformation, inclusion and God’s redemptive heart. In the gospel of Mark 12:28-34, Jesus relived these principles as the greatest commandments. We have these stories for us today because the Holy Spirit saw fit that we would need a reminder of the one who is truly worthy of our full devotion and unwavering faith.
