In-Person & Livestream 11am Sundays
Jesus’ question, ‘Who do you say I am?’ is a lifelong invitation to know Him more deeply through every encounter. Peter gave the right answer—“You are the Messiah”—yet moments later discovered that his understanding of Jesus still needed transformation. In the same way, our traditions and what we have learned about God may give us a starting point, but our understanding of Jesus continues to grow through encounter—with Him in Scripture and prayer, and through relationships, struggles, different people and cultures, and the ordinary moments of daily life.
Perhaps “Who do you say I am?” is a question Jesus continues to ask throughout our lives. As we encounter Him, our answer can deepen and our perspective can shift. And that transformation becomes visible: in how we worship, how deeply we know we are loved, how we speak about Jesus, how quickly we judge or forgive, and how we see the person in front of us. We answer “Who do you say I am?” not only with what we believe about Jesus, but increasingly with the way we live and love each day.
