In Jesus Christ, who is the light of our world, we have the Source of guidance. We have the capacity and favorable conditions not only to confront and escape our darkness of fear, oppression, and ignorance but also to join him in his liberative work. We participate with him as purveyors of healing, truth and grace. Jesus gives us sight in our darkness. He gives us hope in our despair. He gives us good for evil and victory over every enemy that stands against us.
