We are creatures of love. God, our Creator, makes us valuable and people of worth because he loves us. He places his love on us. Our value and worth comes from his love shared with us in Jesus Christ. We love because God first loved us and continues to do so. Love is initiated and fulfilled in us by God, through his Son, by his Spirit. God is love in action in his creation and in us, embodied in Jesus for us, and manifested in our lives through his Spirit as we yield to his love-life in us. God’s love is embracing and inclusive.
