Why do we have youth and children’s ministries? Why do we organize a neighborhood skills camp? Why do we desire and enjoy spending time with, and sharing the love of God not just with our neighborhood adults but also with the children? Because children are precious to God and are invited and included in a love relationship with him in Jesus through his Spirit just as adults are. Because we are participating in the love-driven life of Jesus and that is what he does. Our mission is to know Jesus and to make him known as we participate in him as he reaches out to our neighborhood children.
