The Bible is the unfolding story of Redemption. It was never intended to be a comprehensive record of all of history, knowledge and science. At the center of this story, though not always obvious, is Jesus. People read the same scriptures but come to vastly different conclusions about their meaning. Much confusion arises from a failure to understand the systematic rules governing the correct interpretation of biblical texts. In spite of these and other challenges, by adhering to certain proven and accepted rules and standards of interpretation, we can come to understand it with greater clarity.
